Integrated Lithium Niobate Photonics and Applications

Abstract

Low-loss thin film lithium niobate photonic platform is poised to revolutionize classical and quantum optical communications. I will introduce the platform and discuss high bandwidth, low voltage, and low loss electro-optic (EO) modulators, EO and Kerr frequency comb sources, frequency domain shifters/ beam splitters and microwave-to-optical transducers.
