Abstract

Defect Dynamics In article 2305383, Qingteng Zhang, Gang Wan, Vitalii Starchenko, Guoxiang Hu, Ho Nyung Lee, P. Ganesh, Dillon Fong, and co-workers study the domain boundary fluctuation between a metallic perovskite (Pv) phase and the insulating brownmillerite (Bm) phase domains in epitaxial SrCoOx film (2.5 < x < 3). Competition between the Pv and Bm phases leads to intermittent domain fluctuation even at thermal equilibrium, which provides novel perspectives for devices based on probabilistic (p)-bits beyond the Boolean logic.
