Nitrogen-rich porous organic cages with high acetylene storage and separation performance

Abstract

Two nitrogen-rich porous organic cages (POCs) have been investigated for acetylene (C 2 H 2 ) storage and separation applications, achieving a high C 2 H 2 uptake value of up to 146 cm 3 g −1 at 298 K and 1 atm and effective separation of C 2 H 2 /CO 2 mixtures.
