Abstract

This paper presents a new system for brain stroke detection using electromagnetic tomography, which has two components. On one hand, a small, lightweight and portable scanner which collects the measurement data from the human brains under study. On the other hand, an image reconstruction cloud platform which processes the data from the scanner in almost real-time and capable of generating DICOM images to help clinicians and radiologists in their decision making to identify brain pathologies such as stroke.
