Abstract

Religious education is not just transferring knowledge, but we really hope it will be a place for moral and moral development. How many smart people there are, but the nation is not advanced, there are always many problems, that is because the knowledge they have is not balanced with the morals and morals they have. This study aims to find out how the role of religious education in fostering adolescent morals. And to know the importance of religious education for teenagers, especially at this time in modern life. The problems faced in the process of religious education in overcoming juvenile delinquency include that adolescents are very vulnerable to experiencing psychosocial problems, namely psychological or psychological problems that arise as a result of social change. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytic method, which is trying to describe and analyze the role of religious education in fostering adolescent morals. The results of the research are that in teaching religious education it plays a very important role in one's life to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. Because religious education can encourage someone to fear Allah SWT and have knowledge, can develop self-abilities, and can behave and behave in accordance with Islamic religious norms.
