This article analyzes the social responsibility of university students according to sociodemographic variables in a public university in Peru. The study was a descriptive, quantitative cross-sectional study in a sample of 758 students. The results showed that most of the participants registered a high degree of social responsibility, assuming a social commitment within their professional training that does not differ by age, however, by sex (women), occupation (studying and working), area of studies (biomedical or health sciences), and year of studies (senior years).
