Analysis of Electromagnetic Radiation on a Seagoing Vessel

Abstract

This paper represents a study on electromagnetic radiations starting from their generation, the disturbances they produce in the operation of the electro-energetic equipment on board of a maritime vessel as well as the analysis of the aspects related to the effect on the health of the crew. Measurements have been carried out on a seagoing vessel. The values obtained from measuring the electromagnetic field radiations have been analysed. The values obtained for the purpose of taking protective measures for the electro-energetic equipment and crew are presented.
