Design of Dual Rectangular Slotted MicroStrip Patch Antenna for S-Band

Abstract

In this work, we have constructed a rectangular Micro Strip Patch Antenna with two rectangular slots. which can be used for S-Band, which resonates at a 2. 06GHz. The twin rectangular slotted microstrip patch antenna is fed via an in-set technique. We did improve the antenna characteristics like bandwidth, gain, return loss and directivity. The designed antenna has a return loss of 21.6 dB at a resonance frequency of 2.06 GHz. A dielectric substance with a permittivity (r) of 4.08, a thickness of 1.5mm (about 0.06 in), and a resistance of 50 Ohm makes up the substrate. Frequency S-band applications like radar tracking, weather updates, wireless communication, radar sensing, medical, and military can all be used with this antenna.
