Transferencia de conocimiento para el desarrollo económico: Una mirada desde las Universidades zona 5 del Ecuador

Abstract

The actions of strategic factors that Ecuadorian universities are leading are aimed at connecting innovative processes through an interconnected scheme known as triple helix, with the aim of linking entrepreneurship, using knowledge and society as a base, generating a sustainable development model. between university, business and government. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the relationship between universities, companies and government through business research using the functional triple helix model, with an eye on the innovative potential that drives socioeconomic progress. The research approach is qualitative, descriptive analysis, with a hermeneutic review aimed at entrepreneurship studies, business and academic alliances, government plans and triple helix theory. The findings indicate that scientific research based on the triple helix method should be strengthened, with communication barriers, business disinterest and ineffective state policies being the main obstacles. The Ecuadorian universities under study must make concerted efforts to direct their research towards the true needs of society in each region. In conclusion, the connections of the model lead to socioeconomic solidity through the development of research and scientific projects, without neglecting technological advances
