Abstract

Voltage delay of Li/SOCl2 battery doped with 2, 2'-bipyridine is investigated by the galvanostatic discharge tests and the electrochemical impedance spectra. The results indicate that a certain amount of 2, 2' – bipyridine can be adsorbed on the Li anode surface, leading to the change of LiCl layer, which is beneficial to improve voltage delay of Li/SOCl2 battery in effect.
