This paper presents the measured dielectric properties of 4 sea salt samples with the frequency from 500 MHz to 18 GHz. The dielectric properties were dielectric constant, dielectric loss factor and loss tangent. The results show that the dielectric properties of all 4 sea salt samples were not different. The dielectric properties decrease with increasing frequency and they are highly related to the frequency. The results will be used to consider the condition of sea salt heating in the further work.
