Virtual Mouse – Hand Gesture Recognition System

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to enhance the identification of hand gestures in a Human-Computer Interaction scenario, while also minimizing the computational time required and enhancing user comfort. To achieve this goal, the authors created a computer mouse control application that employs an algorithm and selected hand features, resulting in efficient performance. The integration of voice assistant with the recommended hand postures further improves user experience and facilitates system operation.
