Evolution of Machine Translation for Indian Regional Languages using Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

Language translation has come a long way from the early invention of Morse Code to Natural Language Processing. This paper focuses on the evolution of Language translation of Indian Regional languages, which are diverse in nature. Initiatives of not only the private entities but also the government-based projects are also enshrined. Evolution of programming languages and algorithms for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are enumerated. We have also discussed the development in compliance and regulation in this industry. Finally, the prospects in this field for research are highlighted.
