Abstract

The shopping industry has completely evolved considering its growth from traditional goods exchange and services to modern online services, making it one of the revolutionizing arena on our planet.Many new consumers are arising exponentially due to the convenience and the facilities this industry provides for its consumers.Due to this demand, consumers are increasingly seeking convenient and efficient ways to find the best deals.In response, price comparison websites have emerged as an invaluable tool for shoppers, allowing them to effortlessly compare product prices across multiple E-commerce websites and online retailers.By using advanced algorithms and comprehensive databases, this paper enables consumers to quickly compare prices for the product.This functionality empowers shoppers with the ability to make informed purchasing decisions, ensuring that they obtain the best value for their money.In this project, Web Crawling and Web scraping techniques are adopted to fetch product details available on different E-commerce websites.The crawler crawls the product URLs and feeds them to the scraper, further, the scraped details of the product are filtered, and HTML data is extracted and saved to the local MongoDB using PyMongo.This way, the paper aims to provide a solution for online consumers to purchase the products at the best deal and save their valuable time, money, and effort.
