BOOK-CHAPTER

Edge Computing Edge Network Layer Security

Abstract

In today's computing world, The Internet of Things (IoT) is a rapidly growing and expanding domain. With far more data and data-producing gadgets, there is a need to shift from old computing technologies to newer and more optimized ones. IoT, coupled with Edge computing, is growing rapidly and drives promising results. There are numerous benefits in Edge computing in the performance and turnaround time for processing, but there are a few security challenges that come along with edge computing. A few such challenges are discussed in this chapter. In this chapter, we have discussed implementations surrounding the security of edge networks.
