Rfid Based Automatic Car Parking System Using Iot

Abstract

Due to a shortage of parking facilities and a growth in the number of vehicles, parking is becoming a significant problem in metropolitan areas. An innovative technique is utilized to create a smart automobile parking system that leverages the Internet of Things to make it simple and comfortable to prevent wasting time looking for parking. The parking area in an apartment or mall will be updated as a status in the IOT URL website, and we can view parking slots using an Android app. The parking area is measured and divided into several blocks that can fit a car into it. By opening the website, the user may find the parking area's specifics. The adoption of our system design reduces the amount of time needed to locate an open spot in a parking lot. The maximum parking area in the conventional parking system used to need labor-intensive prior operations. But now, with the help of a smart technology, it will be drastically reduced, and the entire process will be automated. The parking area specifics in an apartment complex or shopping centre will be updated as a status in the LCD. The parking space measurement is documented and divided into many blocks that fit a car into them. In this experiment, parking spaces are identified using a personal Smartphone, and each count is shown on an LCD.
