This article brings to light results of improvements in teaching, which took place in processes of continuing teacher training and coupled with the continuous development of teacher training for the development of activities that continuously prepare the teacher with pedagogical techniques and methods, to effectively carry out the teaching and learning process (VALLE, 1981).The performance of students in the assimilation of the contents taught was one of the main results observed and felt by teachers, among others of a qualitative nature of teaching that prioritizes the continuing education of teachers.The results, observed through a qualitative methodology sample survey, were based on the analysis of the questionnaires and interviews (MARCONI AND LAKATOS, 2003) carried out in an elementary school (of Cycle I), located in the province of Malanje -Angola.In addition to the specific observations, analyzed in the practical case studied, this article also brings reflections concerning the field of Education, in its technical and reflective consequences of teaching practices, since it uses plural bibliographic contributions to support and reflect on continuing teacher education.and its potential to improve teaching.
