Low-Carbon Economic Dispatching of Park Integrated Energy System Considering Carbon Accounting

Abstract

Reducing carbon emissions is one of the major challenges for the power industry. The research on low-carbon economic dispatching of the park integrated energy system (PIES) often focuses on optimizing carbon emission at the power generation side. However, in reality, demand-side electricity consumption is the motivation of carbon emissions, and it is difficult to eliminate the carbon emission and characteristics of the demand side. Therefore, quick and effective carbon accounting on the demand side is needed. In this paper, a low-carbon economic dispatching and carbon accounting method based on carbon emission flow analysis are proposed. Considering the carbon transfer effect of energy storage, demand response (DR) of electric vehicles and carbon loss, the carbon obligations of the demand side can be calculated. By using the data of a PIES in Shanghai, the effectiveness of this method is verified by simulation. The results show that this method can well evaluate the demand side carbon obligations.
