Design and Implementation of Receiver Front-end Module of Ku Band

Abstract

This paper introduces a Ku band receiver front-end module, which main function is to down convert the Rader received echo signal to IF signal output. Using superheterodyne receiver mode, link simulation and optimization design through SystemVue, and adoping SMP type RF direct connection and J63 type micro rectangular electrical direct connection, the miniaturized and modular Ku band receiver front-end module is realized. The Ku band receiver front-end module has the characteristics of high anti burn power, low noise figure and large dynamic range. The measured noise figure is less than or equal to 3.5dB, and the IF output P-1 power is more than or equal to 7.1dBm. At the same time, the Ku band receiver front-end module has the functions of Increase transceiver isolation, RF STC and IF phase correction.
