Uplink Massive MIMO Network Performance

Abstract

The fast growth in cellular subscribers, large amounts of information being transmitted, and need for high transmission rates aspire to reconsider the present generation of mobile cellular networks. Next generation (5G) mobile networks are anticipated to satisfy top-line necessities. In the future generation mobile network, an important mechanism that can be used for boosting spectral efficiency is Massive MIMO. By raising the quantity of antennas at BS, the SE can be enhanced. In addition to improving the multiplexing and array gain, the BS can also address several users within same frequency range simultaneously. This paper examines, impact of antennas at base station on the spectral efficiency due to fixed user distribution for different combining schemes of the massive multiple input multiple output system with uplink scenario. Multicell MMSE gives better SE compared to other combining schemes.
