Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research is students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Menukung, the research sample is 25 students. The data collection technique used a test with research instruments using a test sheet consisting of a dark pretest and posttest. Test-test statistical data analysis. The results show that in the control class there is a difference in the average value and other evidence can be seen from the output sig (2-tailed) in the control class of 0.001 0.05 and in the experimental class of 0.000 0.05 then Ha is accepted. The effect can be seen in the t-test value, with a count of 9.65 whose value is greater than t-table of 1.67, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In the experimental class, ttable 0.000 is smaller than tcount with a value of 0.05, then Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the STAD method on cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class. Suggestions for using the STAD type of cooperative learning method should pay more attention to the division of groups according to students' abilities. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi Penelitian ini Siswa Kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Menukung, sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dengan instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar tes yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest. Analisis data statistik dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kelas kontrol terdapat perbedaan nilai rata – rata dan pembuktian lain dapat dilihat dari hasil output sig (2-tailed) pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,001 0,05 dan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,000 0,05 maka Ha diterima. Pengaruh dapat dilihat pada nilai uji-t, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 9,65 yang nilainya lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,67 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Pada kelas eksperimen sebesar ttabel 0,000 lebih kecil dari thitung dengan nilai 0,05 maka Ha diterima dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode STAD terhadap hasil belajar kognitif pada kelas eksperimen. Saran penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sebaiknya lebih memperhatikan dalam pembagian kelompok yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa.Kata-kata kunci: STAD, hasil belajar kognitif
