STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA KOTA BAUBAU DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH

Abstract

This research has been conducted in the Office of Tourism and Creative Economy. The goal is to identify and
analyze the development strategy to improve local revenue sources Baubau City. The research subject is the head
office, the section chief, section chief, office clerks tourism and creative economy. Data were collected by interview,
observation and documentation, after collecting data is then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. This
study showed positive results such as the existence of a significant increase in the number of visitors and revenues
tourist attraction in the last 3 years. Percentage levies on the tourism sector in the years 2011-2014 was 0.20%,
0.19% and 0.19% as a result of levies on the tourism sector has not managed through local revenue sources Baubau
city. Factors inhibiting the development of strategies to increase local revenue sources Baubau is low community
participation, the human factor, and the lack of coordination between the relevant agencies in the development of
tourism.
