PARADIGMAS CONTEMPORÂNEOS DA FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE CONTINUADA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL

Abstract

The reformulations through which education passes in Brazil today, follow the logic of the adequacy of education to the principles of the development of capitalism in times of crisis, such as the one we have been experiencing for a decade.It is within this framework of neoliberal adjustments that we see popularized concepts emerge such as Entrepreneurship, School without Party, Skills and Competencies; and others less popular, but which are at the base of the logic of framing education to market dictates, such as Instrumental Rationality, Productivism, Formalism, Perspectivism, Operationalism, Individualism and so on.The purpose of this work is to criticize the process of neoliberal adjustment of Brazilian education today, based on the Behaviorist Syndrome Theory of the Brazilian sociologist Alberto Guerreiro Ramos .This theory is part of the critique of modernity that has become a common debate since the second half of the 20th century, undertaken by authors concerned with the construction of societal alternatives.One of the central theoretical lines of the debate proposed by this theory refers to the concept of rationality, where Guerreiro Ramos, as a leading Brazilian sociologist in the second half of the 20th century, proposes a critique of modernity from the perspective of its social rationality, condensed in its Behavioral Syndrome Theory.This theory tries to understand the foundations and basic dimensions of modern reason and argues that we live immersed in a market-centered reason that encourages behavior to the detriment of (creative) action and that reduces human rational capacity to its instrumental and market aspects.Based on this theory, and taking into account the recent reformist tendencies in education in Brazil, we will seek to question this process, trying to understand to what extent this educational model, subordinated to the technical-instrumental rationality of the market, goes against human emancipation, functioning as a behaviorist training suitable for today's market.
