The Ande-Ande Lumut moss tale tells of Prince Kusumayuda who meets Klenthig Kuning, the youngest of a widow who lives in one of the villages subordinate to Prince Kusumayuda’s father. The formulation of the problem in this study is the value of the character in the Ande-Ande moss story, this study aims to describe the characterization and characterization of the Ande-Ande Lumut moss folklore. Has been applied in social and environmental, personality and spiritual. The research and also uses a structural research. While the data collection in this study using documentation and data analysis used is descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the character values contained in the Ande-Ande moss fairy tale include social and environmental aspects, spiritual aspects and personality. These three aspects can be imitaded by someone and should be applied in everyday life so that this fairy tale can be used as a source of reading or learning material by teachers to students so that students can have character according to the culture of the Indonesian nation.
