Abstract

Very recently, stretchable pressure sensors have attached wide attention for tactile pressure measurement. However, high sensitivity and high flexibility is difficult for most flexible pressure sensor at the same time. In this work, we proposed a flexible highly sensitive pressure sensor. The flexible contains an ionic nanofiber membrane fabricated by electrostatic spinning, and sandwich between two ITO-PET electrodes. The electrical double layer will form at the contact interface of ionic membrane and ITO-PET electrodes, enabling the flexible sensor to measure tactile with high sensitivity. The contact area between nanofiber film and the ITO-PET electrodes increases with external load applied on the sensor. The proposed sensor enables to detect the low tactile pressure with sensitivity at 1.68/kPa and exhibits a fast responses time (56 ms). The good performance of the flexible sensor has a promising application wearable electronic.
