Teaching-learning becomes a strategy of education from constructivism. The objective of this study is to analyze teaching-learning from a synthesis of the conceptual analysis of the process-centered approach. Regarding the methodology, it stands out from a documentary analysis carried out from a systematic search in international databases such as: Scielo, Dialnet, Web of Science, Scopus and Ebsco. The results show that the approach based on the teaching-learning process is supported by the constructivist model, therefore, all knowledge that is built corresponds to thought and the various forms of its internalization from the being. It is concluded that the educational environments condition the teaching-learning processes, and the influence of the methods of participation in them systematize research training
