High-surface-area activated carbon from pine cones for semi-industrial spray deposition of supercapacitor electrodes

Abstract

Activated carbon (AC) with extremely high surface area (∼3000 m 2 g −1 ) was prepared starting from pine cones as a precursor and used as a main part of aqueous dispersions for spray and blade deposition of supercapacitor electrodes.
