Uniform Near Magnetic Field Generated by Metasurface for Wireless Power Transfer

Abstract

The charging platforms capable of powering multi-receivers have attracted much interest in wireless power transfer realm. In this paper, we propose a metasurface-inspired resonator which generates uniform magnetic fields in the central working area of 30 cm × 30 cm. The maximum available power transfer efficiency of this area also reaches more than 90% suitable for charging a single receiver or multiple receivers in an office table.
