PEDRA-POMES COMO ADSORVENTE PARA METAIS PESADOS PRESENTES EM EFLUENTES GALVÂNICOS: UMA REVISÃO

Abstract

This paper presents a complementary experimental and computational investigation of the effect of pressure and Reynolds number on the turbulent flow dynamics of a high spout tap.The numerical simulations were performed with a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) package which employs the fluid volume method (VOF).Comparison with experimental and computational data is capable of providing improvements in industrial-scale projects, since conserving water and energy with water-efficient technologies is extremely beneficial to the environment.
