In the present scenario monitoring of water for crops has been becoming a difficult task for the farmers. They need an innovative solution for this problem for irrigating the crops. With the merger of automation new methods of irrigation, it becomes extremely easy for the farmers. A Solar Charge Controller is used to provide electrical energy for the entire system, a Soil Moisture Sensor is used to sense the condition of the soil moisture condition, a Solar Powered Electric Motor is used to pump the water, a Solenoid Valve is used to control the flow of water, and a Microcontroller is used to control the flow of water. The moisture in soil is sensed and based on the which motor operation takes place. Working Status of the electric motor and the moisture sensor are monitored on LCD display and the user mobile via GSM communication method. Automation can help to save water, electricity as well as the manpower. The aim of this paper is to develop a product for farmers to cultivate their irrigation very effectively easily.
