Wearable electronic devices are becoming popular and bringing a significant influence on human life. The advances in flexible and smart wearable sensors for quantifying and sensing the human body's physical and chemical signals offer an excellent opportunity for health monitoring and energy harvesting technology. Recent advances in polymer science, nanotechnology, and miniaturized electronics are making wearable technology more feasible. Polymer-based sensors offer excellent flexibility, durability, lightweight, and high sensitivity. Polymer nanocomposite-based sensors are of great interest to researchers owing to their superior performance. This chapter summarizes the recent advances in some of the concepts and methods used to fabricate polymer nanocomposite-based smart wearable sensors. Emphasis is on different types of sensors, their advantages, limitations, and applications. Overall, this chapter provides complete insight into the ongoing research on polymer nanocomposite-based wearable smart sensors and their potential applicability.
