Abstract

Modern devices for control and implementation of process automation are the main factor in the emergence of software tools for managing these processes. In addition to hardware components, they are essential parts of every automation process in all applications. In the automation of industrial processes, PLCs stand out as the brain of the whole operation. This paper contains the example of DC motor control in many ways. The control can be established by revolutions per minute, by PID controller and by position controlling. Using the Human Machine Interface (HMI), mode of control can be chosen. This concept of control can be expanded and used for many more applications where precise movement is needed.
