Conformal change of Finsler space with (α,β)-metric

Abstract

In this paper, we discuss the necessary and su_cient conditions for a Finsler space with (α,β)-metric of type L = k(α + β ) + ϵ β2/α (where k and ϵ are non zero constants) which is the sum of a constant multiple of Randers metric and metric β2/α to be a Douglas space and also to be a Berwald space, where α is Riemannian metric and β is differential 1-form. In the second part of this paper, we discuss the conformal change of Douglas space with (α,β)-metric.
