BOOK

Managed Aquifer Recharge: Southern Africa

Abstract

The large need for balancing storage in a semi-arid hydrological environment makes conjunctive use of water resources & managed aquifer recharge particularly attractive in the Southern Africa region. What has still been lacking is appropriate governance & institutional development for widely available, but poorly understood, groundwater resources.
