Abstract

Menstruation being one of the important factors of women's health, anything that affects it causes different types of disorders in women leading to infertility and many other diseases.PCOD (Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease) is the most common disorder amongst women of reproductive age.It is characterised by Polycystic ovaries, Hyper androgenism and Chronic An Ovulation.There is no direct reference in Ayurveda regarding this disorder, but it can be related with Ashta Aartava Dushti and also some of the Yoni Vyapada.
