Abstract

Summary This article aims to solve the bipartite consensus problem in fixed time for multi‐agent systems (MASs) with disturbances, in which an adaptive controller is designed. Algebraic graph theory, Lyapunov stability and fixed‐time theory are used to prove the fixed‐time bipartite consensus. In order to reduce control cost, an adaptive control protocol is further designed and discussed. Finally, the feasibility of the developed control methods are verified by numerical simulations.
