BLOCKLIB: Blockchain enabled library resource sharing

Abstract

Being developed from traditional construction to smart resource sharing system, libraries are committed to create a sound content sharing infrastructure beyond the walls. Blockchain supports the certainty of resources ownership and access. This paper presents a blockchain based smart library management system for online sharing of data. The system eradicates the chances of tampering as well as unauthorized accessing the data by introducing a unique and secure accessing mechanism with blockchain technology. The proposed framework is able to provide the secure access to database without any load and access from any location.
