Abstract

This final year project is a Twitter dependant application called Cyberbullying Detection using Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics which focused on handling cyberbullying by removing inappropriate tweet content and alert the parents, guardian, and counsellor about the case via email. The application is designed for the student with general IT knowledge. It was fully developed using the Python programming language. Additionally, a feature to update the white-listed username in real-time has been added to the application by the developer based on the feedback from testers. The developer believed that this application will surely help in protecting the mental development of the student by tackling the cyberbullying issues.
