Vanadium Dioxide based Multifunctional Tunable Terahertz Filter using Metasurface

Abstract

A multifunctional terahertz filter based on vanadium dioxide is realized. It can be electrically reconfigurable and features two different types of tunable frequency selective response depending on two orthogonal polarized incident fields. The mutually polarized response of the filter plays an important role in achieving active polarization angle control of transmitted fields.
