Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Fungsi Kognitif Lansia

Abstract

One of the health problems in the elderly was a decrease in cognitive function.Decreased intellectual capacity is related to cognitive function in the elderly.Family support is one of the factors that affect cognitive function in the elderly.Family support is useful as prevention against cognitive decline and dementia in the elderly.This study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and cognitive function in the elderly.This was a quantitative study with a descriptive and Crosssectional design.The sample waw 178 taken by non-probability sampling technique (snowball sampling).This research instrument was used valid and reliable questionnaires, namely family support and the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) questionnaire.Data analysis was carried out by univariate and bivariate methods.
