Quadratical Stabilization of Uncertain Discrete-Time Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Systems

Abstract

This paper focuses on control design for uncertain discrete-time T-S fuzzy systems, where the system parameter uncertainties change over time and the T-S fuzzy representation allows to cover systems with interval nonlinearities. A framework based on linear matrix inequalities is developed, forcing the existence of the fuzzy state feedback controller in the parallel distributed form. The proposed approach is formulated to assure feasibility with respect to closed-loop system quadratic stability, outlining the controller parameter synthesis. An illustrative example case shows the feasibility of the proposed algorithm and demonstrates its suitable applicability.
