Cytec triples net earnings in the third quarter of 2010

Abstract

Cytec Industries Inc posted net earnings for the third quarter of 2010 of US$37.7 million on net sales of $837 million. Included in the quarter is a special item of $2.2 million of net expense after-tax. Net earnings for 3Q 2009 were $12.5 million on net sales of $740 million. Included in the quarter were several special items that totalled $15.1 million of net expense after-tax.
