This article aims to analyze practices of corporate responsibility by companies in the Brazilian textile industry, aiming to understand these practices not only for the companies' results, but also for the environmental and social result that they reach from them.The article begins with a theoretical reference explaining a little about the textile industry, corporate sustainability and practices of social and environmental responsibility that companies of this branch can adopt.After that, a study with two of the largest Brazilian companies in this industry was done based on their sustainability reports.The next step consists of an analysis of the results integrating the concepts addressed with the case study carried out, followed by a conclusion and final considerations on the subject, focusing on the importance of these sustainable practices for the future of the market and how the companies that work in the even have to behave within these new times.
