Graphene‐Based Carbon Nitride Nanosheets as Efficient Metal‐Free Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Reduction Reactions

Abstract

Sandwich-artige, auf Graphen basierende Kohlenstoffnitrid-Nanoblätter (G-CN) verfügen, nebst vielen anderen Vorteilen, über eine verbesserte elektrische Leitfähigkeit. Sauerstoffatome können daher leichter an die Katalysatoroberfläche herantreten, und die schnelle Diffusion von Elektronen in der Elektrode während der Sauerstoffreduktion wird erleichtert. G-CN-Nanoblätter können daher für Sauerstoff-Reduktionsreaktionen (ORR) als metallfreie Elektrokatalysatoren mit ausgezeichneter Leistung fungieren.
