BOOK-CHAPTER

Nested Queries

Abstract

In the previous chapters, we looked at the select and project operations, which retrieve a subset of rows and columns from a single table, and we also looked at Cartesian products and joins, which combine two tables on a common field. We saw that there are several different ways to write SQL statements to perform combinations of these operations.
