Abstract

Abstract Abstract This article considers the R×C contingency table in which the C columns represent ordered categories. Two models are developed to take account of the order, and these models provide estimated cell frequencies as well as tests of the hypothesis that the relevant row parameeters are equal. One model is of the log-linear variety, and the other examines accumulated logits within rows.
