H2GEAR hydrogen aircraft project for UK

Abstract

GKN Aerospace will lead the UK's new H2GEAR project, to develop the company's first hydrogen propulsion system for sub-regional aircraft. The programme is supported by £27 million (US$37 million) of Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) funding, matched by the industrial partners.
