Probing Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensitivity Enhancement of Film-Coupled Nanoparticles

Abstract

We theoretically investigate the interaction between single or double layer metallic nanoparticles (NPs) in polymer. The results show that nanoparticles hybrid structure can greatly change SPR resonance spectrum and increases sensitivity of SPR detecting.
