Highly Selective Detection of Nitro Explosives by a Luminescent Metal–Organic Framework

Abstract

2,4,6-Trinitrophenol (TNP) lässt sich mithilfe der fluoreszierenden dreidimensionalen Metall-organischen Gerüststruktur (MOF) [Cd(NDC)0.5(PCA)]⋅Gx nachweisen. Aufgrund von Elektronen- und Energietransfermechanismen sowie elektrostatischen Wechselwirkungen ist dieses MOF sogar in Gegenwart anderer Nitrosprengstoffe in wässrigen und organischen Lösungen hoch selektiv für TNP.
