Abstract

disaster preparedness education is able to read the materials they are intended to use to educate the homebound older adult.Study Two designed, implemented, and modified the peer-topeer program materials.During a three-month period nearly 500 homebound older adults were visited by 91 trained volunteer senior companions.The results from pilot study have the potential to inform development of future peer-to-peer disaster preparedness programs for homebound older adults.
